Compensation: $150, 000 to $160, 000 Base Salary + 10% Management Bonus
  The Qualified Professional Technical Group has been engaged to locate an exceptional General Manager of Operations to lead our client’ s team near Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Our client is a world leader in industrial process controls and automation in the heat treatment and combustion markets. They Develop and supply process control instrumentation, sensors, and digital solutions critical to safe, accurate, and repeatable thermal processes. RESPONSIBILITIES:GMO has responsibilities of day-to-day leadership and companywide operations for the following departments: Engineering Departments, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Safety and Environmental.   In conjunction with the President of Operations, this position’ s leadership will help reinforce the company’ s long-term strategy by way of these key bullet points. 

• Oversee day-to-day operations
• Collaborating with President of Operations and President of Sales & Services as needed 
• Create business initiatives, operation strategies and policies often related to minimizing expenses
• Communicating business strategy and policy to employees and delegating projects
• Participate in the development and execution of the company' s business plans
• Change agent, who spearheads new initiatives
• Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
• Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
• Enforce policies that promote company culture and vision
• Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
• Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
• Appoint department heads or managers and assign or delegate responsibilities to them
• Analyze operations to evaluate performance of a company or its staff in meeting objectives or to determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change
• Direct, plan, or implement policies, objectives, or activities of the company to ensure continuing operations, or to increase productivity
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and CAPEX for approval
• Implement corrective action plans to solve organizational or departmental problems
• Understand international standards, NFPA 86, OSHA, EPA
• Travel domestically and international as required  
• Maintain high level of integrity and commitment to quality and safety  

 QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Must have in depth understanding of automation and controls, sensors, and PLCs’
• Prefer 10+ years of experience in the Heat Treat Industry 
• Familiarity with industrial furnace design, controls, and automation systems
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams  
• Experience in strategic planning and execution, especially in the area of engineering and manufacturing Ability to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and KPIs

Salary: $60, 000 to $70, 000 based on experience
We are engaged in a search on behalf of our client for 2 Production Supervisors in Dearborn, MI. These are direct hire opportunities on 2nd shift. This is a hands on leadership role in a fast paced manufacturing environment. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading daily production operations while driving safety, quality, productivity, and team performance.
Please note: This role requires significant overtime. Candidates must be willing and able to work extended hours as production demands require. If you are not looking for a position that requires overtime, this will not be the right opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, and output targets
• Supervise, coach, and hold employees accountable for performance
• Identify production floor issues and take action quickly
• Drive root cause analysis using 8D or similar methods
• Monitor production data, downtime, and efficiency
• Coordinate staffing, overtime, and shift coverage
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and leadership to resolve issues
• Ensure compliance with MIOSHA and IATF standards 

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of production processes and shop floor operations
• Experience handling employee performance, attendance, and discipline
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and make decisions under pressure
• Familiarity with IATF, ISO, or similar quality systems is a plus
• Willingness to work extended hours and overtime - Required

This position requires mechanical aptitude and ability to do math, measurements and use of precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers).   Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be looking for long-term work.    Job Responsibilities Requirements: 

1. Previous experience with Tornos or other lathes used for manufacturing metal parts preferred.   This is a very fast-paced position with ability to multi-task machine operation.

        2. Measure dimensions of finished work to ensure specifications are met.        3.   Loads material into machine.        4. High level of quality control.        5. Must have excellent attendance.        6. Must have some long-term previous work history.        7. Must be able to work overtime.        8. Must be able to stand at workstations for 10-12 hours if necessary.        9. Some lifting may be required.
Skills and Competency:•     Set up and operate a machine in order to make metal parts.
•     Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery.
•     Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.
•     Measure dimensions of finished work pieces using precision instruments.
•     Mount, align and secure work pieces on machines using hand tools.
•     Maintain highest level of quality.
