Job Description

Wood Working AssociatesTwo Rivers, WI$18+/hr6am-2:30pm or 7am-3:30pm

**Job Duties:**
- Review and interpret production orders and drawings to ensure accurate material and assembly requirements.
- Inspect incoming materials for flaws and place them into inventory accurately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including detailed tracking of material usage and proper deductions/additions utilizing computer software.
- Cut laminate sheet goods per order specifications using a vertical panel saw.
- Assemble parts and subassemblies to create completed units using fastening methods such as gluing, doweling, nailing, and screwing.
- Move products and materials to their designated workstations and storage areas.
- Trim and fabricate components to ensure proper fit using various tools and machinery.
- Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and special fasteners as needed.
- Participate in general cleaning and maintenance of the work area to ensure a safe and organized environment.
- Utilize simple mechanical or pneumatic hand tools and material transportation devices (e.g., carts and pallet jacks) as applicable.
- Follow quality assurance measures and processes throughout production, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and regulations.
- Assist in the transport of products through the production process as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Requirements:**
- Prior experience with wood working required for higher level roles.- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with hand tools (routers, drills, saws) and mechanical tools desirable but not required.
- Proficiency in using computer programs such as Microsoft Excel and Word for inventory management.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations, including the ability to use measuring devices (e.g., tape measures).
- Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs. or more (with assistance as necessary) and handle lesser amounts more frequently.
- Capability to stand for extended periods, performing frequent turning, bending, crouching, and twisting as required.
- Experience with forklift operation is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently, with minimal supervision.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to operate briskly and steadily in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work overtime hours as needed.
