Job Description
Established in 1905 as a family-owned farm sawmill operation, this company quickly grew into a respected Midwest cheese box supplier. Over the next century the company expanded it’s operation to include the production of pallets, skids, shipping crates, and related wood packaging. They will grow and remain competitive by supplying their customers with the highest value obtained through superior services, benchmark quality, and industry innovation. They are looking to add on to their machine operation team.
Job Duties
Run an automatic nailer that nails pallets together.
Feed materials to the machine while it’s running.
Watch for quality.
Set up the machines in between runs.
Requirements
Mechanically inclined
Motivated
Machine operation experience
1 year job longevity at previous employer
Shift/Schedule
1st shift 7am-4:30pm Monday thru Friday. You will work 45 hours a week.
Wages
$18/hour
What is in it for me?
Once you are trained proficiently on the machines, roughly 3-4 weeks, you will be eligible to earn a weekly production bonus. The production bonus averages between $2/hour to $5/hour. This bonus will be held until you become a full time employee and will be paid out on your first check as a hired on internal.
