We’re currently hiring a Welder for a U.S. supplier of excavator buckets and equipment. Interviews are being conducted for immediate hire! Position SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for welding, grinding, and finishing heavy equipment attachments according to detailed specifications. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, high-quality production environment.
Position: WelderLocation: Oilville, VA Schedule: 6:00 AM- 3:00 PM Compensation: $20-23/hour, Based on Experience Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various metal materials.
Grind and prime welded assemblies to meet strength and finish standards
Inspect and verify all work meets company quality specifications
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times
Maintain and safely operate welding tools, equipment, and machinery
Communicate with team leads to ensure production goals are met
Coordinate with other departments to ensure materials are ready for fabrication and all necessary information is available.
Track materials used and report inventory needs promptly.
Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards
Qualifications:
Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Proficiency in various welding techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications or weld symbols
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail, independent work ethic, and solid problem-solving skills.
Work Environment
Fast paced distribution warehouse and yard- working in various weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow)
