Are you looking to join a team where your experience can make a real impact? We’re currently hiring a Forklift Operator for a U.S. supplier of excavator buckets and equipment. Interviews are being conducted for immediate hire! Position OverviewAs a Forklift Operator, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining smooth warehouse operations. You’ll handle heavy-duty excavator buckets and attachments—loading, unloading, moving, organizing, and staging them for shipping and storage. This fast-paced, hands-on position requires a keen eye for safety and organizational detail. Position: Forklift Operator Location: Oilville, VA Schedule: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Mon – Fri OR 7:00 AM- 6:00 PM (staggered)Compensation: $20/hour Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts safely to move excavator buckets, grapples, thumbs, and heavy farm buckets throughout the warehouse
Load and unload trucks and containers, securing materials properly
Attention to Detail: capable of reading and understanding item codes and part numbers.
Communicate shipping/receiving updates with warehouse supervisors and logistics team
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment
Qualifications
Proven experience operating forklifts in an industrial/warehouse setting
Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and maneuvering heavy attachments
Strong awareness of warehouse safety—PPE, vehicle traffic, load limits
Basic computer literacy for logging shipments and inventory
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as a team
Attention to detail in staging and verifying orders
Work Environment
Fast paced distribution warehouse- working in various weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow)
