Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Warehouse Logistics Specialist to join our clients team. This role is responsible for managing warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, inventory control, and database management while ensuring compliance with safety standards and military packaging requirements. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in aerospace or global logistics and a strong working knowledge of warehouse best practices. Hours: M-F 7:30am-4:00pmPay: $18.00 an hourAvailable Openings: 1 Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Logistics
Process parts and equipment through the PROS and F-15 warehouse systems, updating respective management databases.
Manage assigned warehouse inventory to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Perform shipping and receiving functions, including documentation and data entry.
Coordinate carrier selection, dispatch, and shipment tracking from origin to destination.
Review completed files to ensure accurate documentation in support of the Quality Management System.
Provide warehouse data and administrative support as required.
Warehouse Equipment & Safety
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, lifts, and banding machines.
Package materials for shipment in accordance with applicable military standards (IAW MIL-STD).
Perform all duties in compliance with OSHA standards and company safety guidelines.
Daily Operations
Adhere to all safety, quality, and training initiatives.
Support additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
QualificationsEducation
High school diploma or GED required.
Associate’s degree in a related discipline preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of warehouse logistics support experience, preferably in aerospace or global logistics.
Experience with all types of shipping, including hazardous materials, large freight, and international shipments.
Licenses & Certifications
Current driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S. required.
Ability to obtain a security clearance (background investigation required).
Forklift operator’s license preferred.
Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of MIL-STD 2073, MIL-STD-129, and MIL-STD-130 a strong plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team.
