Job Description
Machine Helper (2 Openings)Winston-Salem, NC 27107 Starting Pay: $16.00 per hour (increase based on attendance, punctuality & performance) We are currently seeking two Machine Helpers to join our manufacturing team in Winston-Salem:
1 Day Shift (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
1 Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) Night shift will train on day shift initially.
This is a warehouse/manufacturing environment position with a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and housekeeping.Schedule
12½-hour shifts
4 days per week
Rotating schedule (crew assigned during training)
Responsibilities
Feed raw materials into production machinery
Monitor production processes
Perform basic quality and testing checks
Maintain accurate production order documentation
Basic inventory control using RF scanner
Store raw materials and finished goods properly
Operate lifting equipment and forklift trucks to fulfill orders
Pack goods for shipment
Maintain clean machines and work areas daily (housekeeping is required)
Requirements
Some manufacturing experience preferred
Basic PC skills preferred
Strong hands-on technical ability
Comfortable operating a forklift (experience welcomed but not required)
Must be comfortable working in a climate-controlled but dusty, noisy, and active manufacturing environment
Direct exposure to natural and synthetic fibers (including fiberglass) — candidates should not have fiberglass allergies
Must wear steel-toed shoes at all times on-site
Important Attendance PolicyTwo consecutive excessive tardies or No Call/No Show incidents will result in immediate dismissal.
