Shipping Foreman – Manufacturing ShopLocation: Oilville, VAPay: $60,000–$65,000/year (Hourly Paid)Schedule: Monday–FridayEmployment Type: Temp-to-Perm (Potential Direct Hire) Now Hiring Shipping Foremen!Qualified Staffing is recruiting a Shipping Foreman for a heavy-duty manufacturing company producing excavator buckets and related equipment. This hands-on leadership role oversees daily shop and shipping operations, ensuring orders are completed safely, accurately, and on time in a fast-paced indoor/outdoor facility. What You’ll Do
Lead daily shop and shipping operations from production through final shipment
Supervise employees, assign tasks, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
Verify order accuracy and inspect finished products before shipment
Conduct forklift checks, equipment inspections, and weekly safety audits
Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, fuel, and materials
Provide employee coaching, training, and performance feedback
Communicate daily updates to management on production progress and shipping schedules
Help resolve production or shipping issues to meet operational goals
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or similar environment
Experience with shipping, logistics coordination, and order fulfillment
Strong knowledge of workplace safety practices
Ability to lead teams and manage priorities in a fast-paced setting
Comfortable working indoors/outdoors around heavy equipment and changing weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout the shift
Strong communication and organizational skills
Basic computer skills for reporting, order tracking, and inventory
