Job Description
You MUST live within 30 minutes of Brighton to be considered for this role. This position is not on a bus route! Position: Machine OperatorLocation: Brighton, MI Shifts:1st – 7am-3pm2nd – 3pm-11pm3rd – 11pm-7am Pay Range: $18/hr depending on experience/position Job Summary Operate and maintain production equipment while inspecting, assembling, and packing plastic containers. Perform visual quality checks, palletizing, and material handling to meet production and quality standards. Essential Responsibilities
Inspect, assemble, and pack plastic containers by hand or machine
Perform visual inspections for defects and proper handle placement in compliance with GMP standards
Stack, palletize, strap, wrap, and move finished product per Job Traveler instructions
Maintain accurate production and machine logs
Report equipment issues to Lead or Machine Technician
Support QA testing and quality inspections as needed
Follow all safety policies and promote a strong quality-focused work culture
Work collaboratively with the team; maintain punctual attendance
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Basic math and communication skills
At least 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
Familiarity with production machinery; forklift experience a plus
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and twist throughout the shift
