Job Description

Warehouse InspectorDo you like working in a fast-paced environment? Are you looking for work in the Jeffersonville Area? Qualified Staffing is hiring for our client, a wood veneering company located in Jeffersonville, IN and we want you! 
Schedule:
  1. Monday through Friday: 7:00am-3:00pm
  2. Overtime will be offered based on needs
 Pay Rate:$16.00 per hour Summary/Objective:The Inspector is required to inspect sheets of wood veneer for imperfections and damage, and repair all areas needed using a hand sander and wood putty.
Responsibilities:
  1. Evaluates self-work to ensure compliance with work instructions and standards.
  2. Inspects the veneer sheets for specification conformance.
  3. Must be able to meet and maintain acceptable production levels.
  4. Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
  5. Completes the necessary production forms.
  6. Understands lockout-tagout safety procedure.
  7. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed
  8. safety regulations.
  9. Assists in other areas as needed
Qualifications:
  1. Must be team-oriented
  2. Time management skills in order to maintain acceptable production levels
  3. Must be able to lift/and or move up to 35 lbs.
