Warehouse Associate

Do you like working in a fast-paced environment? Are you looking for work in the New Albany Area? Qualified Staffing is hiring for our client, a premier custom awards and displayable products supplier serving the promotional products industry.  

Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday: 7:00am-3:30pm
  • Overtime will be offered based on needs

Responsibilities:
  • Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
  • Operates lift truck or uses hand cart to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area. Pulls parts for orders.
  • Reads and understands work order, drawing(s) and customer order prior to starting work. Contacts Supervisor if there are any questions.
  • Inspect materials prior to starting work. This includes checking piece count, finish, sizing, copy, personalization, color and/or any potential quality issues. Rejects or contact Supervisor if quality issues are present.
  • Inspects completed work for flaws, fixes any defects or flaws, or contacts Supervisor if quality concerns are present.
  • Follows safety rules, policies and procedures as required.

Qualifications:
  • Must be team-oriented
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Must be able to lift/and or move up to 50 lbs.
