VIDEO CENTER MANAGER
SUMMARY: Video Center Manager serves members by planning and implementing
 video center and support services strategies and operations; improving systems and processes; leading the Video Center Team and Support Services Team members.

FUNCTIONS
 
  • Determines video center and support services operational strategies by conducting needs assessments, performance reviews, capacity planning, and cost/benefit analyses; identifying and evaluating state-of-the-art technologies; defining user requirements; establishing technical specifications, and production, productivity, quality, and member service standards; contributing information and analysis to organizational strategic plans and reviews.
  • Maintains a cohesive, highly trained, motivated team sufficient to meet daily video center and support services demands. 
  • Demonstrate financial management skills necessary to counsel and assist members
     towards creative solutions to satisfy their financial needs. 
  • Accomplishes video center and support services human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, coaching, leading, and disciplining employees; administering scheduling systems; approving payroll; communicating job expectations’ planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Meets video center and support services financial objectives by estimating requirements; preparing annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Prepares video center and support services performance reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends. Make operational adjustments and recommendations as needed.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends in video center and support services operations management; attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state of-the-are practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Accomplishes organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. 
  • Maintains knowledge and skills necessary to keep abreast of current and/or changes in services, policies and procedures as it pertains to the department and services offered to our membership.
  • Responsible for developing, creating and becoming aware of Marketing opportunities as they appear in the video center and support services.
  • Keep the Regional Branch Operations Manager advised of any problems and/or concerns within the department.
  • Perform those functions assigned to a Video Teller and Support Services Specialist.
  • Ensures Assistant Manager(s) are mentoring and coaching team to provide members with excellent member services.
  • Achieve established personal and team goals in performance, quality, efficiency, and
     speed. 
  • Monitors regulatory and compliance changes and takes appropriate actions; ensures
     compliance with outside regulations and corporate Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Occasional travel to other locations, Credit Union functions, and training facilities will be required.
  • Present a positive professional image to members and potential members at all times. 
  • Promotes cross-sells and markets all products and services at every opportunity. 
  • Will comply with all Bank Secrecy and OFAC requirements.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by management.
  • Embrace and apply principles to all activities and

  • Support initiatives by demonstrating teamwork and professionalism.
     
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Three to five years’ management experience. Video Center management is highly preferred. 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a video center or equivalent environment.

  • Technologically inclined. 
  • Must be bondable; Adapt readily to change and be flexible with
     work shifts to accommodate extended operating hours and business
     needs.
