Lapeer Manufacturer is in search of a Tornos Machine Operators for 1st shift role!Looking for a  long term minded individual. Short term jobs will not work. We want this person to work out and do not have time to train 5 times overQuick moving. This position will keep someone busy running multiple machines. The machines really run on their own with very little operator influence, but the job requires moving from one machine to another checking parts with both measuring tools and visually, cleaning out the machines as needed… a few other things. This is fast paced.Some ability to comprehend basic mechanical concepts are needed. Nothing too complicated, and not expected to repair machines at all, just needs to have some basic ability.

Job Description: Previous machine experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment is preferred.  Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be looking for long-term work.Job Responsibilities Requirements: 
  1. Loads aluminum parts on bar feeder and loads into machine.
  2. High level of quality control.
  3. Must have excellent attendance.
  4. Must have some long-term previous work history.
  5. Must be able to work overtime.
  6. Must be able to stand at workstations for 10-12 hours if necessary.
  7. Some lifting may be required.
