Tool and Die Maker/Tryout

Location: Lansing

Pay: $26 - Pay based on experience

Hours: 1st shift

Are you a high quality machinist with an attention to detail? Do you have good time management and problem solving skills? Have you welded in previous positions? Job Requirements:
  • Build Line, Transfer, Gang, and Progressive tolling for sheet metal dies
  • Welding as needed
  • Discover and solve die issues as related to product quality problems
  • Work drawing operations as related to metal flow and formability.
  • Troubleshoot problematic tools in press

Qualifications:
  • 2 years of related experience OR any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the knowledge, skill and abilities required for this position.
  • Machine operating experience: CNC, Manual Machine Equipment, and Presses.
  • Experienced in operating fork truck and cranes
  • CAD/CAM programming experience
