Our client offers and excellent work environment and work schedule. Assignments are contract with the possibility of becoming directly hired. DESCRIPTION:Responsible for assembling electrical equipment. Reads and interprets instructions, assembles parts and tools, and fits electronic components together. FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:
Assemble materials
Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, or work orders
Review work activities with supervisors
Inspect wiring installations, assemblies and circuits
Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring or assembly casing
Build wires
Pack finished products for shipment
Tag components
Correct defects
Test product to ensure conformance to specifications
Perform manual assembly during the small-scale production of electronic devices
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
Ability to understand instructions and follow SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedure)
Ability to work independently
Ability to work in a team and to promote team work
Ability to communicate in group or smaller settings
Ability to multi-task
Ability to kneel, reach, squat, and bend in addition to occasional work in confined spaces
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
