Job Description


Our client is an ISO 17025 accredited test lab that has been performing automotive electrical component testing for nearly 30 years. Their scope of testing is principally electrical with some related mechanical testing. While its accreditation is mostly USCAR testing, our client also performs a variety of auto manufacturer’s test specs as well. Ultimately it boils down to providing test data based on customer specifications for them to analyze.

  • Hypot and dielectric test
  • Force testing
  • Hot/cold/humidity 
  • Thermal and Vibration shock
  • Temperature and humidity Measurement
  • Automotive chemical exposure
  • High pressure water spray
  • Data Acquisition
  • Mechanical analysis of terminal crimps and welds
  • Intake and labeling of samples
  • Visual evaluation of samples
  • Measurement points for sample wire lengths
  • Soldering of sample measurement points
  • DMM measurement of samples
  • Placing samples in chambers/ovens for exposures
  • Monitoring chambers/ovens
  • Tensile (pull) testing of wires and terminals
  • Photographic documentation of test and samples
  • Wiring of test set-ups and data acquisition
  • Programing of chambers and vibration controllers
  • Setup and running of vibration and shock tests
  • Power supplies
