Test Engineer

$35/hour

Overview
The Test Engineer is responsible for the troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of our test fixtures to ensure they meet company standards as well as deep pe into electrical troubleshooting and testing of current products as well as products in design.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and Implement Test Plans and Procedures
- Troubleshoot and repair existing test equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on test equipment
- Perform GR&R to define the accuracy of test equipment
- Debug and Resolve Issues Identified during Quality Control
- Work with R&D Engineers on root cause analysis to understand and solve highly complex problems
- Provide technical engineering assistance for debugging and solutions
- Document test results and provide recommendations
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement, with the ability to analyze
and identify root causes of issues and propose effective solutions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Office experience
Preferred Skills
- Two+ years’ experience as a Test Engineer or Test/Engineering Technician or equivalent
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Patience and listening skills
- Ability to read and/or write technical documents, wiring diagrams, schematics, etc.
- Experience with low-voltage test equipment
- Time-management skills
