TEAMCENTER SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR JOB SUMMARY:Our client is looking for a TeamCenter Support Administrator to work out of their Sterling Heights, MI location. If you have at least 8 years’ experience in development / implementation, support, and maintenance with a track record across a breadth of Engineering IT/PLM platforms such as Siemens Teamcenter, and have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or commensurate work experience, we are interested in reviewing your qualifications! ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Configure, implement, and administer TeamCenter (including Active Workspace) applications by deployment of data model changes through TeamCenter BMIDE tool to support business solutions.
Implement new BMIDE extensions and have them attached to OOTB operations using conditions attachment.
Configuring items, datasets, naming rules, lists of values, etc. using BMIDE
Support to configure and develop various proof of concept initiatives to improve features and functionalities in TeamCenter PLM to align with business needs. This includes supporting and maintaining knowledge management, system administration automation, and maintenance of operating procedures documentation.
Knowledge of Multi-CAD object integration and Non-CAD object integration. Using TeamCenter PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) data management capabilities to manage the objects’ lifecycle and their progressive lifecycle states within the TeamCenter database.
Knowledge and common understanding to support and lead integration of an ERP system.
Ability to develop and maintain Teamcenter workflows collaboratively supporting business processes including overall design and workflow handlers.
Participates with the development and maintenance of operating procedures and best practices. Supports the authoring of company standards, procedures, and best practice guides to be consumed by the user community.
Monitor performance of specific applications and SQL database(s) used by TeamCenter and work with the server operations and database team to optimize solutions for minimizing application downtime and optimizing throughput.
Ensures that appropriate security and controls are instituted and compliance with infrastructure architecture standards
Support configuration status accounting in developing reports and other traceability reports being managed within the TeamCenter environment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
8+ years of experience in development/implementation, support, and maintenance with a track record across breadth of Engineering IT/PLM platforms such as Siemens Teamcenter.
Experience of working in a multi-national, multi-organizational and corporate environment.
Currently holds or has the ability to obtain SECRET US Defense clearance
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact with all levels of external and internal customers.
Experience in the implementation of large PLM (Teamcenter) deployments and managing diverse global teams
Knowledge of Systems based design and related Standards/Processes
Ability to present technical solutions to clients and internal stakeholders.
Familiarity with the US DoD ground vehicle requirements
Knowledge of the US DoD process and procedures for vehicle development and acquisition
Familiarity with the US Army TACOM / TARDEC organizations
Practical ‘hands on’ attitude with the ability to operate independently
Knowledge of Military Standards and regulations
Must be able to communicate effectively in a variety of settings and be able to assimilate complex instructions easily. Ability to communicate with all levels of management and staff to establish productive relationships. Superior consultation, diplomacy, influencing and negotiating skills is required. Must possess the ability to explain complex concepts in a way that makes sense to someone less knowledgeable about the topic.
Must demonstrate an enthusiasm to engage with and support overseas colleagues to ensure all staff have the information and opportunity to perform to the best of their abilities.
Must promote collaboration and facilitate teamwork across the organization and its external service providers. Must be tactful, diplomatic, and work with integrity, honesty, and respect for others.
Must display exceptional listening and analytical skills in order to understand customer concerns and needs with the ability to respond promptly and effectively to those needs.
High level of self-motivation and standards with the ability to multi-task; balancing "analysis" with "doing". Must be adaptable and able to prioritize and work under pressure to meet deadlines. Work on own initiative.
Scripting knowledge is desired (batch, VB, SQL, Powershell)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Database Administration and optimization is desired
