Title: Tax Office AssistantLocation: Corunna, MI - On sitePay rate: $16-18 per hourHours: Part Time, M-F 4PM-8PM, Saturday 9-1 or 9-3. Temporary through the 2026 tax season. We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk professional to be the welcoming face of our busy tax office. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to keep things running smoothly.You’ll greet clients, answer phones, and provide outstanding customer service while juggling multiple priorities with a positive attitude. Prior customer service experience is a must, along with strong communication skills and a calm, professional presence.If you’re personable, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with the public in a supportive team environment, we’d love to receive your application!Responsibilities:
Greet clients professionally and create a welcoming first impression
Answer phone calls; take clear and accurate messages if needed
Accepting tax documents from clients for preparation
Handle client documents with accuracy and strict confidentiality
Provide friendly, efficient customer service in a fast-paced environment
Process credit card payments
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic accounting knowledge
Strong math skills
Office experience
Ability to thrive in a fast paced and stressful environment
Previous tax office experience is preferred but not required
Current accounting/business students welcome to apply
Must have a proved track record of reliability and professionalism.
