Do you have a strong background in tax preparation? Our client is looking to hire a Tax Accountant in Macon, Ga. ***This is a direct hire opportunity Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Pay: $55K-$70K/Annually Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit corporate income, sales & use, and property tax filings
Manage fixed asset records and related accounting entries
Handle multi-state 1099, license, and annual reporting requirements
Ensure tax payments and deadlines are met across jurisdictions
Support other accounting functions as needed
Requirements:
3+ years’ experience in corporate tax and fixed asset management
CPA preferred; candidates actively testing also considered
Proficient in Excel, MS Office, and accounting software
Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
Self-starter, team-oriented, and detail-focused
