Do you have cleaning experience and have a good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and looking for a 1st shift, Monday - Friday? If so, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.
Job Responsibilities:
• Execute the Master Cleaning Schedule ensuring the tidiness of equipment, walls, floors, etc. Understand Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA and company standards.
• Assure that housekeeping and methods of operations follow safety regulations, GMP, and other regulatory requirements. Primary responsible for GMP/Plant cleanliness.
• Work with operations to successfully execute the Site Master Cleaning Schedule.
• Performs a constant visual inspection of production to detect, report and correct problems that can cause hygiene, GMP or safety problems.
• Complete log and other data sheets neatly and accurately, as required. Notify Supervisor of all errors, irregularities, equipment problems, etc.
• Prepare cleaning and sanitation chemicals safely for use in production.
• Take sterile samples from samples valves. Analyze samples in the production laboratory and act based on the obtained results.
• Work safely and maintain neat and clean appearance in production area in accordance with good manufacturing practice and NZNA standards.
• Effectively work across production departments to meet plant and customer needs.
• Make recommendations for improving cleanability, efficiency and safety.
• Comply with all production, site-wide, corporate quality policies and procedures to ensure consistent plant GMP.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems as needed. Prepare maintenance notifications and assist shift mechanics as required to ensure timely repairs of faulty equipment.
• Perform job duties in a manner that supports the Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies and regulations, and contribute to improving results in these areas.
• Use the computerized Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to enter and retrieve sample information.
• Follow all departmental and company safety procedures.
• Model company, FSSC and FDA standards for personal hygiene.
• Participate in training and safety programs to consistently improve personal performance, quality, safety, work environment and the process.
• Demonstrate a high degree of dedication to department goals and initiatives.
• Support the Company's Environmental Policy and QES, ensure that the environmental impact of changes to processes, equipment, process and laboratory materials is assessed prior to implementation.
• Perform other duties as requested by production and operation management.
• Ensure adherence to all Company Employee Relations Policies.
Job Qualifications:
-High School diploma or equivalent with demonstrated good Math/Arithmetic skills.
-Some understand of chemistry is preferred. Ability to operate computerized control equipment.
-Ability to accurately and legibly complete all reports and data sheets. Willing to train and learn.
-Capable of working independently and is small groups. Effective written and oral communication skills necessary.
-Can lift 50 pounds. Employees can and should have assistance when lifting items weighing over 50 pounds. Moving or pulling hoses and weighing up to 20 pounds. -Climbing stairs frequently during each shift. Moving various materials using a motorized forklift vehicle.
-Physical requirements also include bending, and scrubbing and using tools such as wrenches etc.
