Supplier Quality Technician

Are you a car enthusiast! This is the time to join a leading manufacturer in their assembly department.

We are hiring Quality Technician for full time opportunities. You will be working Monday-Thursday 5:00am-4:30pm. 

You will support production and supplier quality initiatives. Utilize knowledge of measuring to perform inspections and verify the parts have met the design and specification requirements. 

Key Responsibilities 
  • Utilize knowledge of inspection and measuring to perform inspections, verifying that the products are meeting design or spec requirements.
  • Keep records and communicate non-conformances to support quality initiatives and projects according to customer requirements, TS1694 or/and IATF 16949
  • Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
  • Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
  • Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
  • Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.

Skills/Qualifications

•High school diploma or GED required

•Some college or associate degree preferred

•Proficiency in measurement and inspection methods (gages).
