Our client is looking for only those that want to help our younger generation (ages 18-24) towards achieving their goals of long term employment and living a positive life.

 

Here are some of the duties that you would like to do: 

~ Operate dormitory area, coordinates services, conducts counseling, resolves problems, and assists students with their daily living needs.

~ Maintain student records accurately.

~ Ensure that residences are in a neat, orderly state.

~ Provide students with independent living training

~ Evaluate student progress

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree (including 15 semester hours of Social Services related instruction) and one year experience in counseling or related field.   

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

Valid state driver’s license; CPR/First Aid certifications

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen, sit, stand, and walk; to reach with hands, arms, as well as use hands to finger, handle or feel, to taste and smell.  The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision capabilities required by this job include; close, distance and peripheral vision.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
