Job description
Our outstanding client is currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join our growing structural engineering firm in beautiful Northeast Georgia.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis of simple and complex structures.
Prepare calculations, design drawings, letters and other engineering documents
Perform inspections to ensure structures are built in general conformance with the contract documents
Investigate structural failures and damages caused by tornados, hurricanes, vehicular impacts, fire, flood, etc.
Education Requirements
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Experience Requirements
Candidate should be able to do drafting and analysis as well.
3D RISA and AutoCAD and Revit experience
Residential AND commercial design experience highly preferred.
Seeking a candidate that is looking for a long term position.
Ability to climb high levels - such as roofs - as needed
