Staff Accountant Salary: $55, 000–$65, 000 per year Schedule: Monday– Friday | Regular Business Hours Are you an organized accounting professional who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, and helping keep financial operations running smoothly? We' re seeking a Staff Accountant to join a growing organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their accounting career in a collaborative and professional environment. Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and balance sheet accounts
Prepare journal entries and support financial statement preparation
Process and analyze accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve processes
Qualifications
Bachelor' s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
2+ years of accounting experience preferred
Strong understanding of general accounting principles (GAAP)
Experience with general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail
