Staff Accountant
Location: Grand Blanc, MI’
Pay: $22-$30 an hour depending on qualifications
Full-Time Position: 40 hours a week
Are you a detail-oriented accounting pro with a knack for finance, bookkeeping, and general ledger management? I am seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Grand Blanc client's team, and you might be the perfect fit!

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable.
• Use Quickbooks Desktop (potentially online) as your main accounting software
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Handle bookkeeping tasks and maintain the general ledger.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• General knowledge of finance, accounting principles, and bookkeeping practices.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
