Purpose:

Responsible for coordinating the spare parts inventory needed to efficiently manufacture nonwovens.
Support all departments to help reduce inventory variances. Ensure accurate planning and
organization of spare parts and maintenance activities to reduce maintenance downtime; thus,
facilitating Sandler s quality, hygiene, and safety standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Coordination of Spare Parts
  • Receive stock and create storage locations for inventoried spare parts, and input into ERP system Input information about newly received spare parts into ERP system
  • Perform stock analysis and inventory checks
  • Coordinate the purchase of new spare parts, based on stock analysis
  • Process outgoing spare parts
  • Assist the procurement department with the reordering process for spare parts
  • Perform root cause analysis on inventory variances
  • Work on min/max inventory control measures to reduce inventory

Maintenance
  • Facilitate planning with maintenance and operations for planned downtime activities
  • Schedule tasks for weekly maintenance, based upon due date
  • Issue spare parts for maintenance tasks
  • Provide weekly reports for work orders opened closed and other requested data from ERP system
  • Enforce PM schedule compliance
  • Coordinate with contractors regarding scheduling of maintenance tasks

Special Projects
  • Create necessary instructions and checklists for maintenance department
  • Assist with the processing of incoming materials for upcoming projects
  • Develop labeling system for the organization of storage locations and parts
  • Assist with any other necessary projects, as required

Quality
  • Ensure that the QMS conforms to ISO 9001: 2015
  • Ensure processes are delivering intended outcomes
  • Report to Top Management on the performance of the QMS; on opportunities for improvement; on
    change requirements; on innovations
  • Ensure the promotion of customer focus and excellent quality
  • Ensure the integrity of the QMS is maintained

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience dealing with spare parts used in an industrial environment
  • Experience using an ERP system for maintaining inventory
  • Mathematic and analytical skills
  • Structured and organized
  • Customer service oriented
  • Knowledge of metric and standard measurement systems
  • Positive working attitude
  • Able to work in a team and independently
  • Coachable, reliable, and flexible.
