Primary duties and responsibilities:


Always operate Safely and be a mentor for safety


Daily trucking routes and reporting


Driver training and DOT compliance


Scheduling PMs for lease trucks


Eliminate premium freight


Communication with customer shipping


ASN reporting as required


Communication on scheduling changes or move ups


Customer LTL scheduling


Maintain proof of delivery and be able to send at customers request


FG Inventory management and monthly reporting


Manage outsource Vendors


Communicate plating schedule and hot parts


Vendor inventory accuracy and loss


Vendor quoting and price for new and existing parts


Forklift training and daily inspections


Organize staging and outsource to facilitate getting the trucks out in the morning


Execute the daily material move


Outsource Report



Daily shipped report


Plan to ship tomorrow - report


Ordering, managing, and assembling packaging supplies


Ensure the packing requirements meet the quote and the customer requirements


Accurate container counts


Scale calibration records and daily testing


Count and tare weight labeling


Any other tasks needed to support the team and produce quality parts safely and on time



Education, prior work experience and specialized skills and knowledge:

This position requires that the person be a highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently. Must have strong leadership skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be a good communicator- excellent people skills. Flexible: Must fit in and work well with all kinds and types of people

Must be computer proficient in ERP systems, Excell, customer portals and detail oriented to prevent data entry errors

Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Will have approximately 3-5 direct reports.

Physical Environment/working conditions:

This position works in an office and Manufacturing environment. Some physical exertion regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally bend and move about the facility. Exposure to typical manufacturing areas where personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and mandatory hearing protection are required.
