Job Description
Shipping Clerk – Full Time ? Location: Louisburg, NC ? Pay: $16.50/hr to start! ? Monday–Friday | Day Shift We’re currently hiring a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Clerk to support both our warehouse and customer service operations. If you have strong communication skills, enjoy fast-paced work, and have experience in shipping/logistics, we’d love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate all outbound shipping (LTL, freight, non-LTL)
Schedule pickups and communicate with carriers
Prepare bills of lading and other shipping documents
Track inventory and report shortages
Handle shipping claims and hazmat documentation
Work closely with customer service on special shipments and rush orders
Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation
Assist drivers with paperwork and ensure dock organization
Keep work area clean and stocked with necessary supplies
What We're Looking For:
Prior experience in a shipping or warehouse environment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
