Shipping Coordinator

Franklinton, NC

Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM

$20.00/Hour

Join a dynamic team as a Shipping Coordinator and play a vital role om optimizing our client's supply chain and delivering exceptional customer service.

Job Responsibilities:
  • The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for processing customer orders for shipments as indicated in SAP and through external and internal interfaces in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
  • Will coordinate transactions to facilitate the SAP delivery to shipment process. 
  • Communicates with internal stakeholders and customers and carriers as needed.
  • Schedules all outbound customer and intercompany shipments, to comply with the warehouse operations and capacities, and to meet customer delivery requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 1+ years direct experience is a similar position.
  • Previous customer contact required.
  • Experience with SAP, R/3 or similar system required.
  • Attention to detail in a fast-paced office is essential.
  • Good judgement and strong interpersonal skills required, in addition to being detail oriented and self directed.
  • Strong written and verbal Communications skills required.
  • High School Degree or GED
