Job Description

Job TitleShipping Specialist/Warehouse Person Position PurposeResponsible in ensuring all finished goods and parts are shipped to the customer in a timely manner while being done correctly the first time.  Eliminate shipping errors to the greatest extend possible while maintain same day shipping.  As needed you will provide support to the refurb team. RESPONSIBLITIES/DUTIES
  1. SHIPPING
    1. Review, verify and pull order requests.
    2. Package finished products for shipping (shrink wrap, box, label, etc.).
    3. Process shipments using UPS Worldship, FedEx, Post Office and various trucking companies.
    4. Build large shipments on pallets for outbound shipments.
    5. Complete Freight Bill of Ladings (BOL’s).
    6. Record weights and cost of shipments.
    7. Stage, load and unload trucks.
    8. Receive, ship, store and issue, bin and bulk supplies, materials and equipment.
    9. Perform inventory cycle counts.
    10. Insure accuracy of all inbound/outbound shipments.
    11. Identify obvious damage to merchandise, materials, goods and equipment.
    12. Clean and maintain warehouse.
    13. Move, arrange and rotate stock: first in first out (FIFO).
    14. Rebox and label machines; place in designated location.
    15. Provide assistance to refurb team as required.
  2. Other
Preform other duties/projects as assigned.
