The Service Center Manager will ensure that we lead and are the best in all heat transfer industry while caring for our workforce, communities, and environment. Essential Functions: The Service Center Manager is responsible for safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and people development.
Ensure a safe work environment for all operators.
Identify root cause of safety issues, develop and implement corrective actions.
Produce finished goods by quality standards.
Investigate quality trends and implement change to prevent future issues.
Ensure production schedule is met by identifying needs & procuring help, anticipating changes, and adjusting to achieve success.
Eliminate waste and continuously improve production processes to meet increasing demand by improving productivity.
Use individual development plans to develop leads and operators to improve employee engagement, career development, and job satisfaction.
Ability to take on other duties or assist in other departments as departments need change.
Ability to provide clear expectations to employees and manage outcomes using praises and redirects.
Clean area to SS standards.
Required Skills:
2-3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in an industrial setting or college degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Leadership.
Proven ability to implement sustainable change.
Excellent communication skills with people at all levels of the organization.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet customer demand.
Action-oriented, hands-on person who is excited to solve problems and continuously improve production environment.
