General Description:
As Installer III, you'll be responsible for installing service bodies, platforms, dumps, van packages, hoists, cranes, PTO’s, electrical and custom hydraulic components and circuits, and alternate fuel conversions. Your role will also involve fabrication as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Complete all Labor Grade I and II duties proficiently.
• Install and troubleshoot custom hydraulics with precision and efficiency.
• Expertly handle installation and troubleshooting of custom wiring.
• Skillfully manage alternate fuel conversions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Interpret schematics, diagrams, and blueprints accurately.
• Utilize your strong mechanical background to tackle hydraulics, 12-volt electrical systems, and assembly tasks effectively.
• Apply welding expertise – MIG, TIG – with attention to detail and safety.
• Demonstrate proficiency in metal fabrication techniques.
• Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines.
• Consistently exhibit regular and punctual attendance.
• Foster positive relationships and effective communication within the team.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence and initiative.
• Provide own tools and ensure they are well-maintained.
• Meet or exceed production standards consistently.
• Bring a positive attitude and eagerness to learn to every task.
Preferred Experience and Training:
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience with automotive electrical systems and hydraulic systems.
• Prior work in an assembly environment.
• Previous experience in a related industry.
• Proven track record of meeting completion standards within timed job standards.
• Formal mechanical training or certifications (ASE or other).
• Impeccable attention to detail across all job responsibilities.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area to enhance efficiency and safety.
Equipment, Tools Used to Perform the Essential/Preferred Functions:
• Utilize a variety of hand tools – both pneumatic and battery-operated.
• Apply welding techniques using a welder and cutting torch.
• Operate overhead cranes safely and effectively.
• Utilize grinders and plasma cutters with precision.
