Identification of requirements within specifications and contractual documentations
Authoring Design Criteria documents in partnership with Engineering Teams
Managing the program requirements compliance, verification and the proper flow-downs
Supporting the definition and management of requirement risks
Assisting in specification preparation for lower-level documents including compliance plans and reports
Verification of requirements throughout the product design cycle including, participation in tests and reviewing verification reports
Ensuring that artifacts of compliance are clearly traced to the originating source document
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Math or Science
5+ years’ experience in related aerospace industry in requirements management and/or systems engineering
Familiarity with SAE ARP 4754, SAE ARP 4761, DO-160, DO-178 and DO-254 certification
Writing of objective requirements, generating compliance and verification reports and supporting the validation processes
Organizational skills and ability to produce a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Comprehension of components and Electrical and Mechanical Engineering principles
Possess a working knowledge of gas turbine engines, hardware and associated manufacturing techniques
Interpersonal skills with effective negotiation and conflict-resolution experience
Written communication skills and proficiency in document preparation
U.S. citizenship is required
Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
