  • Identification of requirements within specifications and contractual documentations
  • Authoring Design Criteria documents in partnership with Engineering Teams
  • Managing the program requirements compliance, verification and the proper flow-downs
  • Supporting the definition and management of requirement risks
  • Assisting in specification preparation for lower-level documents including compliance plans and reports
  • Verification of requirements throughout the product design cycle including, participation in tests and reviewing verification reports
  • Ensuring  that artifacts of compliance are clearly traced to the originating source document
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Math or Science
  • 5+ years’ experience in related aerospace industry in requirements management and/or systems engineering
  • Familiarity with SAE ARP 4754, SAE ARP 4761, DO-160, DO-178 and DO-254 certification
  • Writing of objective requirements, generating compliance and verification reports and supporting the validation processes
  • Organizational skills and ability to produce a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Comprehension of components and Electrical and Mechanical Engineering principles
  • Possess a working knowledge of gas turbine engines, hardware and associated manufacturing techniques
  • Interpersonal skills with effective negotiation and conflict-resolution experience
  • Written communication skills and proficiency in document preparation
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.  Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
