SENIOR PROJECT MANAGERSeeking an experienced project manager to join the Application & Client Services team. Potential areas of assignment include Public Safety, Water Resources Commissioner, and Assessing & Taxation. This team provides IT development services to all of the county’s departments as well as cities, villages and townships. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under supervision, the project manager will be a key contributor supporting our applications.
Work closely with corporate counsel and internal business units for new, existing, and renewed professional service agreements and contracts.
Manage a variety of projects, including request for proposals (RFPs), contract/scope development, infrastructure upgrades, application enhancements and new development, and implementation of COTS/vendor applications with multiple integrations, and Agile technologies.
Identify the technical approach to be used on a given project and manage the system development process.
Advocate for change and effectively communicate project value, including navigating individual viewpoints and building consensus.
Manage scope throughout the project duration; manage project tasks with team members, correlate work to a work breakdown structure, and ensuring team members track time appropriately to projects.
Manage tasks and resources related to support, maintenance, and enhancements of existing applications, where applicable.
REQUIREMENTS:
Desire hands-on, self-starter, and team player possessing both technical and interpersonal skills.
Must be flexible and able to meet deadlines set by internal and external agencies to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
Must possess high level understanding in the areas of project management methodology, web application programming, content management systems, API, database, and system design.
Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact at all levels.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including developers, product owners, and subject matter experts.
Technical proficiencies to include CA Clarity Portfolio Management, MS Project, Azure DevOps, MS
Visio, Microsoft 365 Services, SharePoint Online, MS Teams, Agile Methodologies
Prefer local candidate for hybrid work environment
