Summary:

The Electrical/Electronics Associate Engineer or Sr. Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting PAC, PLC and VFD controls including custom and OEM control systems in support of industrial manufacturing processes within the company

Essential Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Work on assigned projects in a timely and efficient manner
  • Troubleshooting PAC, PLC and VFD controls including custom and OEM control systems in support of industrial manufacturing processes
  • Hands on support of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, AC/DC motors and mechanical operations
  • Compile technical operation and troubleshooting documentation fro maintenance manuals, operator training and machine and systems commissioning and operational support
  • Familiar with preventative maintenance, planning and parts ordering
  • Work within Engineering and Maintenance departments to develop and implement training initiatives; demonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators
  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of production and facility equipment to help ensure optimal operating condition
  • Observe and test the operation of machinery/equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions; analyze test results; error messages and information obtained from computer generated data in order to report and diagnose equipment problems
  • CAD experience relating to drawing modification, clear understanding of process layouts, P&I, electrical panel and one line drawing use in troubleshooting
  • Abide by and help to ensure safety programs and practices are followed
  • Assist all departments as necessary to help ensure optimal production.

  • Ability to read electrical schematics and calculate figures to amounts, add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers.
  • Work knowledge of Microsoft Office Software: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Essential Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Minimum Associate Technology Electrical/ Electronic degree is required
  • Minimum 5 years+ related experience troubleshooting PAC, PLC and VFD controls including custom and OEM control systems in support of industrial manufacturing processes
  • Compile technical operations information and troubleshooting documentation for operational and maintenance manuals, operator training and machine and systems commissioning and support
  • Hands on, support of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, AC/DC motors and mechanical operations
  • CAD experience relating to drawing modifications, clear understanding of process layouts, P&I, electrical panel, one line and as built drawing use in troubleshooting
