Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate one or more multiple spindle screw machines to perform machining operations on metal bar stock.
Review blueprints, determine tooling needs, and adjust machine settings for precision production.
Install and adjust cams, gears, collets, and tooling using various hand tools.
Verify first-run and sample pieces meet all specifications using precision measuring tools.
Maintain equipment, sharpen tools, and troubleshoot machining problems.
Keep detailed production records and maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S principles.
What We’re Looking For:
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1 year of factory-related experience, preferably in screw machine operation.
Strong blueprint reading skills and proficiency with measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a loud, fast-paced shop environment.
