Roll Clamp Operator
Neenah, WI$19.50/hr2nd Shift: 3pm-11pm**train on 1st shift
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roll Clamp Worker to join our operations team. The Roll Clamp Worker is responsible for safely handling and transporting large rolls of paper within the mill. This role plays a critical part in maintaining production flow and ensuring the quality of our products.
Key Responsibilities: - Operate roll clamp forklifts to move and position large paper rolls throughout the facility. - Ensure the safe loading and unloading of rolls to and from production lines and storage areas. - Conduct routine inspections of equipment, reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards. - Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas to promote safety and efficiency. - Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. - Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience operating material handling equipment, preferably roll clamp forklifts. - Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment. - Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. - Good physical condition with the ability to lift and move heavy materials.
