Job Description

Summary: Our client is a leading provider of high-quality metal fabrication, stamping, and powder coating solutions. They are looking for a Robotic Welder to join their growing team.  The person in this role will be robotically welding metal components together in order to fabricate, assemble or repair products.  There will be limited manual welding in this role as it is almost 90% automated.   Responsibilities:
  • Operate machinery and equipment used in metal fabrication.
  • Process parts (form, cut, weld, clean, finish, assemble, package and transport)
  • Produce (quality and quantity) parts that meet both the client’s specifications and expected output levels
  • Visually identify and correct deficiencies in parts produced (this is sometimes done through manual welding)
  • Assist in the preparation and set up of machines for production runs.
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished products as required.
  • Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Follow operating procedures and safety protocols to minimize risks and hazards.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions or production issues promptly.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
 Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing (metal fabrication a plus).
  • Experience working with automated welders, oxyacetylene torch, hand grinding tools and saws 
  • Ability to operate machinery, including basic computer skills for machine operation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
