Regional Executive Administrator

Wilson, NC

$24.00/hour

35 hours/week

Purpose of the Job:

The role of the Executive Administration for the Region is to facilitate the day-to-day administrative functions of the office, enabling the smooth flow of programs and resources for the congregations comprising the Region of North Carolina. 

Areas of Responsibility:
  • Provide administrative support to the Regional Minister by utilizing various digital and social media platforms, addressing phone messages and the calendar of events
  • Occasionally act as a representative to district or Regional events as requested by the Regional Minister
  • Provide receptionist duties
  • Pick up mail daily and distribute; prepare and mail permit mailings for bulk mailing
  • Work closely with Finance Committee, Treasurer and bookkeeper
  • Assist Regional groups with event registration and publicity, with appropriate staff input
  • Maintain Aplos member/vendor database
  • Maintain Regional and interoffice calendar
  • Maintain all ministerial records and credentials as well as interface with national office
  • Maintain and prepare various regional directories as needed.
  • Other duties as requested and/or necessary.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Management preferred
  • Applicants with degrees in the areas of theology, technology, and professional development will be strongly considered
  • One year of administrative experience required, 3 years preferred
  • Strong organizational skills to assure time management and task completion
  • Excellent writing skills to interface with the Regional staff, board, and local congregations
  • Possess the ability to work well with people and to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Ability to learn new software system(s)
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office and Google Drive, and video meeting platforms
  • Willingness to cross train and cover in other administrative areas
  • A successful background check is required
