Job Description


Position Overview: Driver Recruiter II. Previous recruiting, sales or high volume in/outbound calls experience is highly desired. The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced working environment and enjoy pursuing and closing a deal. Multi-tasking and attention to detail is imperative!

Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming calls from job applicants. Make outgoing calls to potential driver candidates.
  • Interview candidates to determine if they are a good fit for the position and organization.
  • Contact and screen applicants for basic qualifications, while complying with DOT regulations, other applicable state and federal laws and USPS guidelines.
  • Leverage understanding of the marketplace to assist hiring managers in setting realistic expectations of filling the openings. 
  • Utilize all sourcing/screening technology provided. Maintains an open, flexible, and innovative attitude related to ongoing process improvement and enhancement.
  • Develops a strong understanding of industry trends and the impact to the recruitment process. Continually looks for opportunities to improve work processes and the value of delivered services. Works with recruitment leadership providing continuous improvement ideas and suggestions.
  • Utilize company Dashboard Tracking System to document all communication with potential candidates and 10 Roads Express management.
  • Onboard new hires into the company’s history, culture, and inpidual job roles.
  • Make hiring decisions and work together to improve driver retention.
  • Meet all required hiring goals.
  • Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars.
  • Prepare letters and spreadsheets as requested.
  • Fax/copy/scan/email/file documents.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with employees and the public, maintain confidentiality in daily operations and conduct daily duties in a professional appearance and manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • Experience with DOT regulations and transportation experience a plus.
