RECEIVING CLERK - WHAdairsville, GA PAY: $22/hourlySHIFT: 1st (6:00a-2:20p) This critical role ensures efficient coordination of inbound and outbound logistics, supporting smooth warehouse flow and accurate shipment processing. Key Responsibilities:Inbound & Outbound Coordination
Create deliveries using required shipment and loading parameters
Monitor the status of inbound and outbound deliveries
Act as the main point of contact for inbound and outbound drivers
Verify delivery and shipment numbers and record them in the appropriate systems
Track all shipments and ensure timely follow-up on loads and documentation
Documentation & Systems Management
Manage all administrative tasks related to shipping and receiving
Maintain and update delivery/loading schedules in SAP
Prepare and verify key documents, including:
Delivery/loading documents
CMR (international consignment notes)
End-of-shift reports
Follow written procedures available in SharePoint (safety, quality, scanning, storage, and waste handling)
Loading & Verification
Communicate loading instructions to warehouse loaders as operations progress
Ensure merchandise is properly secured (e.g., strapped) before shipment
Verify that delivery notes match the merchandise loaded using scanning systems
Download and record picking photos for shipment validation
Problem Solving & Communication
Identify and resolve discrepancies in shipments or documentation
Communicate issues and updates to supervisors and relevant teams
Follow verbal and written instructions to maintain operational efficiency
Operational Support & Compliance
Perform 5S audits according to established procedures
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and cleanliness standards
Assist with yard management, including trailer movement and coordination
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
Forklift certification (front, reach/retractable, and side loader preferred)
Experience with SAP for shipment and delivery tracking
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Familiarity with yard/visitor management systems (e.g., Peripass)
Ability to calculate floor space and weight distribution for truck loading
Internal tractor license (preferred) for moving trailers
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
