Job Opportunity: Receiving Associate

Location: Flint, MI

Shift: 1st Shift

Starting Wage: $16 per hour

Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming calls and provide assistance as needed
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs and ensure all visitors are directed to designated areas
  • Coordinate with truck drivers and visitors, guiding them to their intended destinations
  • Handle distribution of mail and receipts to the accounting department
  • Maintain organized files for logs and records
  • Enter receivers into SAP and CIS systems accurately
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding Bill of Lading (BOL) and Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN) discrepancies
  • Generate and maintain daily ASN reports, submitting them to specified contacts by the close of business every Wednesday
  • Ensure compliance with quality procedures by maintaining accurate receiving records
  • Enter returns with appropriate codes and manage inventory in SAP and CIS systems
  • Perform cycle counts to identify and resolve discrepant inventory levels
  • Assist with purchasing activities as needed

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Effective time management and decision-making abilities
  • Understanding of material flow processes
  • Proficiency in general office tasks
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous
