Represent the facility in preparing for, facilitating, and responding to inspections and audits.
Collaborate with managers to create and maintain a Quality Management System.
Maintain current TS and Q1 certifications.
Create and maintain company quality documentation such as reports, manuals, and procedures all in compliance with record retention policies and procedures.
Respond to customer concerns by analyzing failures and recommending, driving, and/or monitoring corrective and preventive actions.
Develop and deliver training to build quality awareness.
Develop quality assurance plans and procedures and conduct quality inspections to ensure materials, products, and processes comply with relevant requirements in the quality management system.
Continuously improve the quality system.
Interface with sales and operations to ensure the transition of new jobs to production is in accordance with approved data and requirements.
Conduct quality audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audit findings reports, and determining proper corrective and preventative actions.
Address non-conformances in materials, process and product using root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
Manage supplier performance, conducting audits, and ensuring timely resolution of supplier failure through corrective and preventative actions.
Responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and continuously improving the overall activities of receiving inspections and outgoing quality functions.
Manage the Quality Assurance departmental budget and other administrative functions to ensure an efficient operation that is cost effective and well integrated.
Represent the company in all Federal, State, and client audits.
Establish the overall requirements for Quality Assurance specifications and standards for materials, processes and finished products.
Utilize statistical tools to analyze and drive towards problem solutions.
Qualifications/Skills:
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in manufacturing, quality assurance/compliance, and/or engineering; including at least three (3) years in a management role.
Experience in obtaining and maintaining TS certification.
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication, and analytical and leadership skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
