Manufacturing Quality Engineer Location: Marietta, GA Position Type: Direct HirePay: $80, 000 - $100, 000 annually, based on experience Our Marietta, GA client has engaged us to identify an experienced Manufacturing Quality Engineer for a direct hire opportunity with a well established and respected manufacturing organization. The Manufacturing Quality Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring product quality, driving continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining compliance with quality standards, and serving as a key resource for quality related processes across the organization. This individual will work closely with cross functional teams to support operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and overall manufacturing performance. Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems and processes to ensure product compliance and customer satisfaction.
Monitor manufacturing operations to identify quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Lead root cause analysis investigations and drive effective resolution of quality concerns.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects, improving process capability, and enhancing overall product quality.
Conduct internal audits and support external customer and regulatory audits.
Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with engineering, production, supply chain, and leadership teams to ensure quality requirements are met.
Develop and maintain quality documentation, procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans.
Assist with supplier quality activities, including evaluations, audits, and corrective action management.
Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
3+ years of Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies including Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
Experience with quality management systems and industry standards.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality related reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification.
Experience supporting ISO compliant manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
