Job Responsibilities - QA Inspector
- Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using
measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, vision systems etc.,
- Discard or reject products, material, and equipment not meeting specifications.
- Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems and assist in identifying
and correcting these problems.
- Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend necessary
corrective actions.
- Able to Record inspection data in EXCEL.
- Analyze test data and make computations as necessary to determine test results.
- Work closely with manufacturing personnel on product evaluation.
- Perform lot sampling (Visual Inspection) on finished product.
- Perform periodic in-line inspections of finished product.
- Write quality procedures as needed.
- Implement and confirm quality systems for traceability and documentation.
- Enforce GMP implementation and compliance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree required
- 1 to 3 years or experience in the related field.
- Entering, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form.
- Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
- Conducting tests and inspections of products to evaluate quality or performance.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other
techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing and distribution of goods.
- Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing work - developing specific goals and plans to
prioritize, organize, and accomplish the work.
- Communication skills - providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates
by telephone, in written form, e-mail or in person.
- Use and understanding of computer interfaced equipment.
