Job Description
Romeo manufacturer of bioproduction tools and services to the cell and gene therapy, and broader biopharma markets, is seeking Experienced Quality Control Technicians to join their growing team. These are 1st Shift positions, Monday-Thursday, flexible start time (4 10-hour shifts). Pay is $17 per hour. All candidates must submit a complete, up-to-date resume, to be considered. General Summary and Purpose:The Quality Control Technician is a core team member of the Quality team. The Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing testing of all components, intermediates and finished goods in accordance with standard operating procedures, ensuring the required testing is performed to the highest degree of detail to ensure safety and consistency for BioLife’s customers. The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring all testing equipment is maintained in a calibrated state according to prescribed international standards. Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs testing of all components, intermediates, and finished goods in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Performs inspection of incoming raw materials and components.
Must perform work in a timely fashion.
Ensures all testing equipment remains in working order.
Ensures all testing equipment is calibrated according to work instructions to international standards.
Documents all work in accordance to work instructions and good documentation practices.
Maintains all testing logs in a timely and accurate fashion.
Performs all work by manufacturing timelines.
Works with the Operations and Quality teams to continuously improve the quality environment.
Other Duties as Assigned: > Keeps work area and equipment cleaned, organized, and labeled. Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards>Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly.>Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency Other Duties (Standard Verbiage.
