Duties:
Working alongside the Engineering Manager, you will manage all areas of purchasing material and supplies!
Follow purchasing policies, processes, and procedures
Build a competitive supplier and vendor base, identifying new shops and vendors on a continuous improvement basis
Negotiates best vendor terms, pricing, and delivery based on a specific budget and schedule requirement
Resolve material quality issues or discrepancies
Understands and adheres to customer specifications
Organize several job priorities
General Support for Engineering and CAD/CAM Departments
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Two years of related work experience or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the knowledge, skill, and abilities required to be successful in performing the duties of this position.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and reach technical drawings
Excellent Communication Skills
Knowledge in CAD/CAM a plus
