Due to success developing new markets, we have an immediate need of a hardworking, career- oriented individual that can be trained to analyze construction plans, comprehensively estimate materials, and prepare bid documents for pricing. We emphasize the quality of our service to our customers, and as a result we have been selected to be a supplier of choice for some of the most prestigious, high-profile jobs throughout the Mid-Atlantic. Qualifications
Strong office technology skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
Familiarity with CAD or similar technologies strongly desired
Knowledge of building construction, materials and methods
Experience estimating construction materials desired
Well-organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to read and understand construction documents, including architectural and structural plans
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with team members, vendors and customers
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved is desired
