The Profiling Manager will oversee the facility's UV and profiling processes to ensure effective and efficient use of facilities and staff. Process optimization and department leadership that are required for the new LVT (SPC) manufacturing facility.
Salary: $90K
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the manufacture of products, ensuring production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met.
- Review production reports to ensure safety, quality, financial, and delivery goals standards are met.
- Ensure that all machinery is running at or above budgeted cycle times.
- Develop and implement quality standard testing and evaluation processes.
- Assesses tests results and approves recommended changes.
- Reviews quality control documentation such as checklists, logs, and reports for effectiveness, accuracy and relevance.
- Conducts random inspections and quality control checks.
- Managing, assisting and facilitating changeovers.
- Identifies and shares training opportunities for staff to build and improve skills.
- Supervises equipment purchases, maintenance and layout.
- Delivers progress and production reports to executive team members as requested.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical or polymer engineering or relevant field or equivalent experience required.
- At least 5 years of experience in industrial management.
- Previous experience in luxury vinyl tile leadership - profiling or UV departments preferred.
- Hands on experience with machinery
Additional Requirements:
- Organizational and managerial skills
- Thorough understanding of policies and practices used in the manufacturing pision
- Ability to trouble shoot machines and provide constructive design feedback
- Ability to work with Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Engineering for Continuous Improvement
